Link- Engineering
Good art requires good tools, an experienced skill set and an open mind.
I have been recording for over 15 years now. I have always been drawn to sound.
The emotion conveyed by music has always been the most interesting part to me.
I daily strive to help artists communicate their ideas in a way that clarifies and heightens the mood they trying to cast on their listener.
Subtle or not so subtle, it is these moods which make a song come to life and connects with the listener.
Technically speaking I am extremely interested in recording equipment.
In fact I became a professional electrical engineer in an attempt to learn how my recording equipment worked inside and out.
My fascination with electronic design has led me into developing many custom studio tools, such as Pinky the Compressor.
It is hard to be a recording engineer, if you do not understand how recording technology works.
I am constantly increasing my knowledge base, and experimenting.
