Singing For Someone Else's Supper:
Born and raised in the wilderness of the Canadian Rockies, guitarist and songwriter Max Wilkie began his musical adventure at the age of thirteen. Many summers spent hitchhiking across much of Western Canada with a guitar strapped to his back provided the early developmental core of Max's song lyrics and boisterous lead solos.
Like so many musicians, Max has experienced numerous diversions in life: He has been a newspaper reporter and columnist, a professional ski salesman, and a pretty damn good breakfast cook, for example; but, in the end, making music is closest to his heart.
